Biography
John Grisham was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on February 8, 1955. He graduated from law school at Ole Miss in 1981, and became a lawyer. He was inspired by a young victim's testimony to write his first book about an alternate possibility in her case. It was rejected by publishers many times, but was finally printed in 1988. John Grisham is the author of many bestselling books, including The Firm and The Client, and the young adult series Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer. He currently lives with Renee, his wife, and Ty and Shea, his two children. They move between two houses; one in Virginia and one in Mississippi.
